The Seimas of Latvia demanded the deputy to check a video in Russian. The Presidency of the Parliament turned to the Ethics Committee with a request to evaluate the actions of Andreas Pagur from the Sovereign Association / Young Latvians. The event was a video in which the deputy spoke in Russian about the work of the Seimas. He posted the video on his social media. According to the Latvian rules, MPs are required to use the official language in the parliamentary premises, including when addressing the public. Pagor himself said that he did not know about the ban and asked to inform the voters about the first session of the new convention. He also promised it wouldn't happen again.
