The new Seimas of Latvia refused cooperation with Russia and Belarus on the first day of work, deputies forbade the creation of groups for inter-parliamentary cooperation with Moscow and Minsk. This is the first resolution of the 15th convention. Only delegates from the "Sovereign Power / Association of Latvian Youth" spoke out against it. The majority stated that such cooperation is inconsistent with international law and democratic values.
