The Belarusian-Russian youth symphony orchestra under the direction of Yuri Bashmet will perform in Minsk and Moscow. The musicians will hold two concerts: on November 7 - in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, on November 9 - at the Belarus State Philharmonic. The program includes works by Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov, including the overture to the opera "Queen of Leaves", Polonaise from "Eugene Onegin" and "Symphonic Dances". "In our difficult times, it's wonderful that art and classical music unite young people," noted Yuri Bashmet. The orchestra was created in 2008 as part of the Union State. After a long break, Yuri Bashmet resumed his work in 2023.
