The Highland cow Yaroslava met the cow Gabryusha in the Moscow zoo. The first meeting was of mutual interest: the animals were separated by bars, and they immediately began to sniff each other. Now Yaroslav is brought to Gavriosha's compound every day. The animals communicate for about an hour - this is how they gradually get used to each other. If the introduction is successful, they can be placed together. Yaroslav is a little over a year old. She was born in the zoo at Father Frost's estate in Volky Ustyug and after the quarantine she moved to the children's zoo in Moscow. The male Gabriosha is eight years old; He has lived in the Moscow Zoo since he was a calf. Yaroslava likes to communicate with keepers and happily allows herself to be brushed - the long hair of Highlands requires regular grooming.
