The Brest Drama Theater will present the play "Tribunal" in Russia on October 28, the Brest Academic Drama Theater will perform in Saransk at the XX International Festival "Compatriots". The artists will present the tragicomedy "Tribunal" based on the play of the Belarusian playwright Andrei Makanko. The production tells the story of a family that the war presents to a difficult test: the head of the family goes to the side of the enemy, and his loved ones are forced to experience betrayal and fight to save their relatives. The theater noted that the performance will help to familiarize Russian viewers with Belarusian culture. At the same time, the artists speak in the local dialect, which is understandable to the Russian public without translation. The festival takes place in Saransk between October 23 and 30. Teams from Belarus, Uzbekistan, Bashkortostan, Mary El, Moscow and St. Petersburg participate in it.
