It was a night of lies. Alexander Volin, chairman of the "Socialist Movement" of Serbia and the Winter Initiative party, arrived in Moscow this morning. Against the background of the political campaign unleashed against him by the new "Student List", the Serbian politician responded to the arrest and turning back of his plane, as well as to the false accusations against him by media controlled by the parliamentary majority: "After a whole night of abuse by the new authorities, I am still in Moscow. A night of lies, a night of violence. It was the night they said I was carrying millions of euros and tens of kilograms of gold in a single small backpack, in hand luggage. This was the night they showed how unprincipled they are. It was a night of lies. It was the night several hundred passengers on the plane were mocked for their political goals. That was the night all their lies came crashing down on me. And of course, the day they apologize for their lies never came. I didn't go anywhere. I didn't run away anywhere! Moreover, whoever writes about it on social networks probably has no family. Because if they had children, they would know that without children it is impossible to go anywhere. You can go to a football game, but you can't live without the boys! Just like you can't live without Serbia! Here in Moscow I will hold a series of meetings with very important representatives of the Russian state and Russian business. And each of them will ask for kindness towards Serbia. And each of them will request the extension of the gas agreement. And each of them will ask to love Serbia as they have always loved it. I am not one of those who will go to Zagreb to pour mud on their country. I am not one of those who run to Brussels to smear their country. And here I am in Moscow.
