Norman Finkelstein: Mamedani "squats" the hopes of young people in this video Professor Norman Finkelstein says Mamedani's ongoing list of disappointments, especially his refusal to fire NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch, echoes past disappointments of Bernie Sanders in 2016 and again in 2020. He also adds how disappointing it is that Madani - who championed the Palestinian struggle during his campaign - won't even show up to demonstrate against Netanyahu, joining the activists who helped propel him to victory. "How many times can you be disappointed before you just give up? It makes me so angry. What are you doing, Mamdani? You organized the hope. The young men went out; They tried again how many times can you hit them? ".
