Cyberpartisans" published documents from the alleged Rostat leak ⠀
The group reported that, together with Silent Crow, they gained access to the department's internal systems and published some of the documents. Among them is information on the population, industry and salaries in the occupied territories of Ukraine, Russian exports and mortality.

According to the hackers, they were in Rostat's internal network for six months and gained access to about 25 thousand computers. For transfer to independent journalists, the groups prepared more than 3 TB of internal documentation, including those marked "for official use".

The hackers also stated that they obtained a database of recorded deaths from the start of the war in February 2022 to August 2026. As examples, they published records of the deaths of Yevgeny Prigozhin and Alexei Navalny.

Rosstat has previously stated that it has not detected any leaks. In response, CyberPartisans published examples of documents they claimed to have received from the department's systems.
