In Petropavlovskaia Borshchagovka near Kyiv, relatives of servicemen said men were being illegally detained and beaten in a private home. There were clashes with the police near the building. In the evening, the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, arrived there.

A boy was taken out of the house and said he was 14 years old, UNIAN reports. Budanov talked to him and helped him contact his sister. It has not yet been determined how the boy got inside and whether he was held there.

"To understand what the hell is going on here," is how Budanov explained his arrival, UNIAN reports. He let members of the public in to tour the place. He later called the crowd to disperse, saying that "there are no more hostages" in the house.
⠀ According to BBC News, the police received a call from private ambulance workers who were denied access to a person at home. Local residents and relatives of the military gathered near the building. During the clashes, the gathered caused damage to a police bus, and the police used gas. In the video, shots can be heard from the scene.

The commander of the National Guard, Alexander Pivanenko, said that the house is used for temporary accommodation of conscripts: there they prepare documents and pass tests before being sent to training centers. According to him, four servants who were returned after leaving their unit without permission were sent to the National Guard Medical Center.
⠀ The 1st Corps of the Azov National Guard confirmed that the building was used by one of its military units, and four inpatients were injured. Their origin cannot yet be determined. The National Guard has begun an internal investigation.
