Italy has frozen a new military aid package to Ukraine.
The 13th aid package is ready to be sent, but after several postponements the date of delivery is still unknown, writes Il Giornale dItalia. According to the newspaper, Italy sent the last batch ten months ago.

The publication claims that Prime Minister Georgia Maloney intends to wait until the US midterm elections on November 3 before making a decision. However, there is no confirmation that aid will be sent immediately after the vote.

In the past, the decision on the sending was postponed to July, and then to September and the Congress of the League party. The Italian government continues to announce support for Kyiv. According to the newspaper, there is no final decision to stop the supply.

Earlier in August we wrote about a fire and explosion at the KNDS Ammo Italy factory in Colpero. The KNDS group supplies Ukraine with weapons and ammunition. No injuries were reported in the explosion.
