A Ukrainian woman complained about a Russian-speaking employee of a "Ukrainian beauty salon" in Warsaw. It turned out that the barber is Belarusian. The Ukrainian woman told the Wires that she got her haircut at the "PIED-DE-POULE" salon in Warsaw. According to the client, she chose the establishment because she saw it as Ukrainian and wanted to support her compatriots abroad. The publication received more than 350 thousand views and about 1.2 thousand comments. The woman said that during the haircut she addressed the hairdresser in Ukrainian, but she answered mainly with short comments and only uttered a few phrases in Russian. Later, the client found a certificate on the master's Instagram about completing training in Russia in 2022 and assumed that a Russian woman had done her hair. "And now I have a question for the salon: do you know who you employ, and do you think it's normal not to inform customers about such things if you position yourself as a Ukrainian hairdresser? " - wrote the woman. In the comments, users noted that the hairdresser is actually Belarusian. This was confirmed to most journalists at the showroom itself. The representative of the establishment explained that it employs employees of different nationalities and no one is obliged to speak to customers exclusively in Ukrainian. "They speak in a language that they are comfortable with and that everyone understands. And I can't say that anyone owes anything to anyone," said the hairdresser's representative. According to her, the discussion on social networks did not create problems for the employee.
