A library in memory of the fathers of the students who died in the war was opened in a kindergarten in Khanty-Mansiysk. As NeMoskva Speaks noted, preschoolers from Brusnichka kindergarten lined up in the hallway in front of flags for the Russian national anthem. The army was invited to the festive ceremony - they told the preschoolers about the service of the dead and encouraged them to grow up as defenders of the homeland. The teachers, according to a 14-minute video released by the kindergarten, took turns holding portraits of the students' fathers who died in the war in Ukraine. The Hero Library project was launched in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug in 2024 at the initiative of the Commissioner for Children's Rights, Lyudmila Nizmova. The purpose of the project is called "patriotic education" through familiarization with the books that fell in the war loved to read during their lives.
