Kuban raider Kurobeiko, who participated in the Free Russia Forum, was sentenced in the Russian Federation to 24 years. The case against the owners of the Pokrovsky agricultural concern, also known as members of the Pokrovsky organized crime group, was considered by the Globinsky court in Moscow. Andrey Koroiko was sentenced to 24 years of strict regime and a fine of 303 million rubles, his accomplice Arkady Chevanov was also sentenced to two years and a fine of 432 million. The reason for the verdict, Kommersant notes, was the raiders' takeover of the Kushchevsi agricultural complex, the creation of a criminal community, and a number of other articles: extortion, fraud, etc. Kurobeiko's accomplice, retired FSB colonel Sergei Eklov, had already received a 20-year sentence in August. Let's recall that Koroiko participated in the last "Free Russia Forum" in Warsaw, where he announced that together with other entrepreneurs persecuted in Russia, he intends to request compensation for assets seized in Russia through Europe. As Suta later found out, for this purpose, Kurobeiko and his partners - the owner of the bankrupt bank BFG-Credit Yuriy Glotzer and the former co-owner of the Sulikamsk magnesium plant Igor Pastrykov - founded the International Union of Entrepreneurs in Strasbourg to act in their interests. In addition to the dialogue with Russian oppositionists in Katsav, Pastrykov and Koroviko were also mentioned in the report of the UN special report on the Russian Federation Mariana Katzrova as entrepreneurs persecuted by the Putin regime.
