A meeting of representatives of the opposition forces was held at the mansion of the leader of "Strong Armenia" Sambal Karaftyan. The head of the Strong Armenia faction, Narak Karaftyan, noted during the live connection that the participants have many differences of opinion, but they can reach a consensus on a number of issues. "We must consolidate on the points that will be important for our struggle," he said. Later, several opposition political forces in Armenia, including two parliamentarians, announced the formation of a national union. He noted that despite differences in approaches, the participants are aware that the country is facing a life-changing challenge. The statement, in particular, talks about the refusal to enforce the "Aliyev Constitution", about peace without unilateral concessions and territorial losses, protection of the national identity and the Holy Armenian Apostolic Church, as well as the return of democratic rights and freedoms.
