The United States has already spent more than 47 billion dollars on the war with Iran - these are the figures that CENTCOM gave to Congress, writes Giva. Since July, the cost of the conflict has increased by more than 25%. More than $29 billion was spent on renewing used ammunition, about $6 billion on the purchase and replacement of equipment. The total may be higher: it is not clear whether damage to US bases in the Middle East from Iranian missile and drone attacks is included in the calculations. The Congressional Budget Office has previously warned that additional hostilities could cost Washington another $2-3 billion a month.
