Russian Ambassador to Yerevan Sergey Kupirkin said that Moscow and Yerevan cooperate quite closely in the field of ecology and the Russian side is ready to share with Armenia its experience and developments in the field of nature and climate protection. According to the diplomat, environmental issues are among the traditional topics of bilateral dialogue. He said this while referring to Russian-Armenian contacts on the sidelines of the United Nations Conference on Biological Diversity COP17, which is being held in the Armenian capital. Kufirkin emphasized that Russian experts, representatives of the business sector and government agencies are open to dialogue with their Armenian counterparts. Moscow stands in international contacts and is ready to share existing developments, as well as adopt international experience. According to the ambassador, nature is a transnational concept and therefore it is impossible to manage without international cooperation in this field.
