Russian doctors arrived in Uzbekistan on a humanitarian mission. Experts visited Tashkent and Samarkand as part of the "good mission" for the third time. Complex consultations, councils and operations were held in the capital. Now a group of 5 doctors, including the traumatologist-orthopedic Artyom Stambolian and the oncologist-surgeon Yekaterina Polkovskaya, has already started working in Samarkand. On the first day, Polkovskaya performed a complex operation at a local cancer center. In the coming days, the doctors will consult with patients, perform surgeries and share experience with Uzbek colleagues. During the two previous visits, specialists helped more than 100 patients and performed more than 60 operations.
