Kyrgyzstan's industry is proposed for financing through a special bank The Ministry of Economy has developed a bill to establish a bank for industrial development. It will issue loans to factories, finance the purchase of equipment through leasing and support new production. Companies and individual entrepreneurs carrying out industrial projects will be able to receive funds. They plan to establish the bank with 100 percent state participation. It will not be subject to the general banking requirements of the National Bank and will not be able to accept deposits from the public. Money is expected to be raised from the state budget, from international financial organizations and other sources. Also, each project will undergo a risk and cost-benefit assessment.
