The police reported property damage, attacks and violations of weapons and explosives laws. The main demonstration at the Brandenburg Gate earlier in the day remained peaceful. In Frankfurt, rioters smashed shop windows, threw Motove bottles at police and trashed shops, including a gun shop. A Reuters photographer claims that at least one weapon was taken. The "Gen Z regelt" movement claims that more than 100,000 young people took part in protests across Germany against the government of Chancellor Marcel: against conscription, back-office expenses and rising living costs.
