Pakistan is deploying a new radar system for China's Hongqi-19 missile defense system. Satellite images show a radar station in Pakistan that looks similar to the Chinese SLC-14 radar. This radar operates in X-band and is designed to detect and track ballistic targets at long distances. In the past, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced an agreement with China to purchase the "Hongchi-19" missile system, J-35 fighter jets and KJ-500 patrol aircraft. Now, there is more indirect evidence pointing to the implementation of this project.
