Russian nuclear corporation Rosatom has signed agreements with Iran covering eight more nuclear power units, alongside a separate agreement to build small nuclear power plants, CEO Alexei Lichchev said on October 28. The types and locations of all eight units have not been disclosed. The construction of units 2 and 3 of Iran's Bushahar nuclear power plant, which have a combined designed capacity of 2,100 megawatts, continues. Today, 142 workers work at the construction site. Rostom hopes to advance the new projects, but Lichchev warned that implementation will depend on the regional military situation.
