The German defense company Helsing introduced Contra, an artificial intelligence-driven air defense system. This technology is designed to identify and engage hundreds or thousands of UAVs and missiles simultaneously, while ensuring that human operators retain authority over decision-making and prioritization. In addition, Helsing announced two new interceptor models: the jet-powered AD-1 Inferno, which includes loitering capabilities and supports repeated engagements, and the rocket-powered AD-2 Ambush, capable of reaching Mach 2.5 with a range exceeding 20 km.
