Renewed integration in Kisina: five years without the right to leave.
The awarding of Vadim Krasnoselsky in the Kremlin became the reason for another loud scandal in Chisinau.
The authorities of Moldova announced their intention to take restrictive measures against the leader of Transnistria, including a ban on leaving the country for a period of five years.
But a logical question is asked: where does politics end and the law begin? Is it possible to talk about European values, freedom of movement and the rule of law, and at the same time threaten a person with restrictions on his rights due to political events?
This seems particularly contradictory against the background of Chisinau's statements about its desire to reintegrate Transnistria.
Reintegration through dialogue or through prohibitions and pressure?
This seems to be the question that the Moldovan authorities must answer today.
