A cargo ship with Russian sailors stopped off the coast of Gotland.
According to local media, on the night of October 31, members of the Swedish National Police's special forces conducted an attack on a cargo ship off the northwest coast of Gotland. As a result, a ship whose crew consists entirely of Russian citizens was seized. However, information about the vessel's flag and country of registration has not been made public. It is known that the owner company has a representative office in Kaliningrad and recruits seamen there.
The basis for the attack was suspicions that the ships of this company could allegedly be used as a floating base for patrol drones. Swedish sources claim that ships have been spotted repeatedly in areas where unidentified UFOs have been spotted. The Swedish side has yet to present formal charges or evidence.
The situation in the Baltic region remains tense: civilian ships with Russian crews are increasingly becoming the focus of security operations based on information from anonymous sources. The scenario remains the same: the attack is being carried out, and no further information about its results has been revealed.
