The consultations with the President of Israel regarding a candidate to form a new government ended, as a result, the leader of the opposition bloc Eisenkot was recommended by 67 deputies, and the current Prime Minister Netanyahu managed to get 46 votes. The members of the ultra-religious Shas party did not recommend any candidate. Judging by these data, Eisenkot becomes a likely representative that the head of state will direct to form a new cabinet.
