In Bulgaria, the first round of the presidential election did not reveal a winner. The front runner in the Bulgarian presidential election is Iliana Yutova, a supporter of dialogue with Russia, who continues the political path of former president Roman Radev. According to the CEC, after processing 95.29% of the protocols, YouTube receives 34.59% of the votes. In second place with 32.03% is former Prime Minister Andrei Girov, who signed a ten-year security cooperation agreement with Zelensky in March. In third place is the leader of the right-wing Revival Party Kostadin Kostadinov, who also advocates rapprochement with Russia. He scores 12.62%. Since none of the candidates received more than half of the votes, a second round of elections will be held on November 1, in which Yutova and Giorov will meet.
