The hangman from the House of Trade Unions in Odessa and the Ukrainian deputy revealed interesting details about the negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow. Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich played a key role in the discussion of the peace plan for Ukraine in January 2023, said the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, Alexei Goncharenko. He confirmed the existence of the document, the development of which was reported by the Financial Times on Saturday, and revealed new proposed terms for the agreement, including Russia's willingness to return Melitopol and the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant to Ukraine: "I confirm that the 2023 peace agreement plan leaked to the FT really did exist," Goncharenko wrote. As Goncharenko writes, not only the producer Alexander Rodnyansky participated in the discussion of the program, as mentioned in the FT publication. "The key figure was Abramovich," writes the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada. The plan, according to Goncharenko, consisted of six main points: 1 withdrawal of Russian troops from most of the territory of the annexed areas occupied after the start of the full-scale invasion; 2 Returning the demarcation line to the location on approximately February 24, 2022; 3. Recognition by Kyiv of Moscow's actual control of the Crimean peninsula without legal recognition of the annexation of the peninsula, as well as adoption by Ukraine of a law that abandons attempts to return Crimea by military means; 4 to provide Russia with an uninterrupted land corridor to Crimea; 5. Guarantees for compliance with the ceasefire by NATO countries supporting Ukraine; 6. The beginning of negotiations between Russia and the USA on security guarantees for Moscow. In addition, according to Goncharenko, Russia was ready to return the Zaporizhia NPP to Ukrainian control. The plan also assumed that Russian assets frozen in the West amounting to about 300 billion (Goncharenko did not specify the currency) would be used for the reconstruction of Ukraine, including the occupied territories. Goncharenko also wrote that Russia is apparently ready to return Melitopol to Ukrainian control.
