The head of Bugatti had his personal Bugatti stolen, which was parked near the company's headquarters in the suburbs of Zagreb. CEO Mate Rimac left the keys to his supercar Bugatti Chiron Sport worth more than 400 million rubles - he considered Croatia the safest country in Europe and often allowed friends and colleagues to borrow the car. As a result, the 36-year-old thief, who originally came to the Rimac campus (part of Bugatti) for an interview, simply got into the car and drove off. In less than 24 hours, the man managed to leave the country, travel through Slovenia and reach Austria, where the police arrested him. The thief did not take into account an important nuance: the car is tracked all the way through the built-in GPS. After his arrest, the man admitted that he came looking for work, but saw a cool car with keys in the door and couldn't help himself.
