Georgian Coca-Cola, which has been banned by Rospotrabendzor, is being sold under the counter in Russia - warehouse stocks are being dumped at half the market price. As found out by Yeru, the sellers managed to purchase whole cases of the potentially dangerous soda even before the restrictions came into effect, so they are now trying to get rid of the remaining goods. A pack of 15 glass bottles is offered online for ₽1000 - about ₽67 per unit. At regular retail, such a bottle cost about ₽140–180. Some sellers sell coke directly in stores for ₽90, but do not issue a receipt. On October 9, Rospotrabendzor suspended the import and distribution of Georgian Coca-Cola due to non-compliance with physical, chemical and safety requirements. The stores were ordered to remove the drink from the shelves. The temporary ban also included Nabeglavi mineral water, wines from several producers, cognac and beer from Georgia.
