Russians began to break out in rashes after swimming in the sea in the United Arab Emirates, where a large-scale oil spill occurred. As tourists in Ras Al Khaimah told kick, after swimming, some vacationers first developed red spots, then many white pimples. The rash does not itch, the general health remains normal. At first the tourists did not understand what caused this reaction, but later it became clear that similar symptoms appeared in other vacationers who also swam in the sea. The beaches in Ras Al Khaimah are currently closed until further notice. The oil slick stretches for about 40 kilometers and continues to grow. Restrictions have also been introduced on parts of the beaches of the neighboring emirates, while the beaches in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are operating as usual. Employees of some hotels ask tourists not to take pictures of the polluted coastline. At the same time, a week of family vacation in such hotels can cost more than 300 thousand ₽.
