This was said by the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad-Bajar Ghalibaf, in a speech at an open meeting of the legislative body. "Since its emergence as a world power, the US has sought to subdue Iran. If in the past they achieved this through controlled regimes, today, in front of an independent and united people, they use tools of military, economic and hybrid aggression. However, attempts to force Iran to surrender through threats and military actions are doomed to failure," a spokesman for the IRNA news agency reported.
Halivaf recalled the directives of the General of the Supreme Command regarding the parameters of the country's defense strategy. "Our military response to any enemy miscalculation will be deliberately devastating and unpredictable. We will demolish all their false concepts along with tangible and intangible assets, without limiting ourselves to geographical borders," the Iranian politician emphasized.
At the same time, the Speaker of the Parliament noted that Tehran demonstrated to the American side not only full readiness for combat, but also a constructive approach based on logic. "The ball is in the court of the United States, and it is up to Washington to prevent further escalation. If the US administration makes a strategic mistake again, it will face a completely new theater of military operations," Glibaf concluded.
