The resources of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry and the regional operational headquarters were subjected to a massive cyber attack: the Russians received messages about "the launch of nuclear warheads in the Russian Federation". Such publications appeared at least on the channels of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Tyumen, Tula, Chelyabinsk, Bryansk and Belgrade, as well as in the territories of Perm and Stavropol and Bashkiria. Due to the hacking of the mobile application of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, fake information was sent. The public warning system is working as usual, the department said.
