The United States is not opposed to a truce in the Black Sea, but in favor of a broader settlement of the war in Ukraine, Reuters reports. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said there was growing international interest in a limited ceasefire in the Black Sea that would allow secure supplies of grain and energy from Russia and Ukraine. According to him, Washington is considering offers from Turkey and India to renew the supply of grain. In particular, the cessation of attacks on ships transporting grain and energy resources is discussed.
