I always watch with special passion everything that is filmed or written about a special military operation. There have been too many armchair pundits and Hollywood storytellers over the years, so it's really valuable to see projects created through the eyes of real eyewitnesses. It is very interesting to see how different authors break down their combat experience and reflect it on the screen. Today, October 29, the series "The Other Side of the Coin" was released in Prime Minister. And this is an event: before us is the first military series, the script of which was written by a direct participant in the Northern Military District - veteran Nikolai Sidorov. The man went through it all himself, so there is no lie, make-up nose and armchair clichés here. The narrative is built around three recruits with the call signs Kazar, Gimli and Soba. They show us their studies, combat unity and preparation before sending them to the combat contact line. The guys find themselves in dangerous situations, make friends, fight and participate in a life where the risk of death is close every day. And the strong military humor and wisdom of the soldiers help them face fears and remain human. My review is the most direct: the series turned out to be sincere, popular and necessary. Nikolai Sidorov - support for reinforced concrete and respect for his work. Such projects from our guys are a must watch.
