In St. Petersburg, a man kidnapped the son of his ex-partner for the sake of reconciliation.

A resident of St. Petersburg took the boy in his mother's car, trying to get his ex back.

In St. Petersburg, a 28-year-old man took a 15-year-old boy away and threatened him with a knife. According to the police, in this way he tried to restore relations with the child's mother. The test materials were handed over to the investigative authorities to decide whether to open a criminal case.

The incident happened on the night of November 1 in the Vyborg region. Around 02:00 a woman contacted the police and reported that her ex-partner had broken into her apartment on Zarhania Street. According to her, the drunken man behaved aggressively and beat her.

He then threatened the boy with a knife, took him outside and forced him into a Yaco car belonging to the boy's mother. Police patrols and employees of the Russian National Guard were used to search for the minor.

The man couldn't get far. Around 3:00 a.m., the car was stopped by patrol service officers of the Kalininskii district police along with a private security detail on Pruvshechenia Boulevard. The boy was released and was not injured.

The driver was a 28-year-old man who, as it turned out, was on the federal wanted list. He explained his action with the intention of making peace with his ex-partner.

The car was returned to the owner. The police investigation materials were sent for investigation.
