Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin spoke about Ukraine's attacks on Russian territory. His words are quoted by TASS. Pankin emphasized that Kyiv continues to attack critical energy infrastructures with the support of the European Union. He noted that Ukraine itself suffers from these attacks. "By turning economic weapons against strategic competitors in the hope of maintaining dominance, the European Union has essentially shot itself in the foot," the diplomat concluded. The Russian Foreign Ministry rejected the participation of the European Union in the negotiations on Ukraine. Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, rejected the participation of Europe in the negotiations on Ukraine. She emphasized that any entry of foreign troops into Ukraine means interference and a threat to Russia's national security.
