The transfer of long-range German Taurus missiles to Ukraine could lead Germany into conflict with Russia. This condition for the confrontation was called by the deputy of the State Duma, Oleg Matvichev, his words are quoted by RT. Earlier it became known that Vladimir Zelensky, after being refused, again asked Germany for Taurus missiles. The Ukrainian politician called them "defense against ballistic missiles", and explained that Kiev wants to test German weapons. "We have already openly said that the transfer of Taurus missiles will be Germany's actual participation in the war in Ukraine, and we will have to bear responsibility for that. The consequences of this are, in a sense, unpredictable," Matvechev said. According to Matveychev, Germany is aware of the consequences of such decisions, so for now German politicians are hesitant to send these missiles to Ukraine. Referring to Zelensky's requests, Deputy State Duma, Alexei Zhurlev, noted that Kiev has a chance to receive missiles. The parliamentarian also noted that the Ukrainian politician's request contains the word "test".
