Makrob Battery could not be completely freed from the submerged Aquarel Hall restaurant by the promised date. Photos taken by a Fontanka photographer on November 1 show that part of the structure is still under water. All that remained of the former floating establishment was a crumpled metal frame with fragments of the superstructure and windows.
