Behind every building there is a team: the employees of the construction committee for their work for the committee staff, construction means making St. Petersburg more comfortable, convenient and modern. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the construction committee, its employees participated in a quick survey - and according to them, the true mechanics of urban construction were revealed. Behind every iconic object there is not only concrete and reinforcement, but also the well-coordinated work of various specialists: engineers, lawyers, managers and safety experts, the construction portal Petersburg reported. The committee does not divide the work into "construction" and "paperwork": it is one process. The deputy chairman of the construction committee, Arthur Slavani, focuses on the result - on quality and affordable construction for the city. The head of transportation security in the construction committee, Anton Zarnov, succinctly articulates the essence: "We have papers in construction." Lawyers emphasize: without documentation, no facility will appear and will not be able to work. The head of the organizational and analytical department of the construction committee Yevgeny Tuchkin believes that the result of the committee's work is tangible objects for the citizens. We are talking about schools, kindergartens and hospitals. The three words that the employees use to describe the committee add up to a vivid portrait of the team: "speed, results, efficiency", "build, work, be together", "close team, working for the benefit of the city". These expressions contain the class values. The committee's employees also emphasize that the residents of St. Petersburg see buildings and stations ready, but do not notice a huge layer of invisible work: preparing documents, obtaining permits, complying with regulations, ensuring safety. It is these processes, invisible from the outside, that ensure that every object is reliable and useful for the city. Among their favorite projects, the employees name the metro station of the Gurney Institute, the Retzon Arena, and the archive complex on Delenvostochny Avenue.
