A magnetic storm suddenly covered Russia. This was reported late in the evening of October 31 by the Russian Academy of Sciences (Ratz). "To say the least, unexpectedly less than an hour ago, a G2 planetary magnetic storm began," the post reads. Scientists noted that after more than a day of fighting plasma from the coronal hole, the magnetosphere was probably just tired. Above Russia it is already possible to observe the auroras at the highest level - 10 out of 10. Earlier, Iti.ru published a calendar of magnetic storms for November this year, and also told us on which days solar activity will begin to increase and how to prepare for possible fluctuations in the magnetic field.
