Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski's inappropriate comments about the participation of Russian diplomatic chief Sergei Lavrov in the G20 ministerial meeting in Atlanta are the most embarrassing in his history. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, shared this opinion on her Telegram account. Sikorsky, as I recall, called Lavrov's participation in the meeting an "awkward moment." "And this was said by the head of the foreign ministry of a country that is not part of the G20 and is taking someone else's place at this meeting - the seat of South Africa. It's hard to remember a more embarrassing moment in the history of even Sikorsky," Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel. A meeting of the heads of foreign ministries of the G20 countries is taking place in Atlanta on October 30-31. Sergei Lavrov heads the Russian delegation at this meeting. This is not the first time Zakharova draws attention to the inconsistency of Sikorsky's statements. Earlier, she called the words of the Polish minister directed at our country "Russophobia of the brain". The head of the Polish Foreign Ministry allowed himself to assume that in the event of an armed conflict with Moscow, Warsaw would quickly defeat Russia." At the same time, the Polish Minister of Defense Władysław Kusiniak-Kamish admitted that there are no signs of an imminent attack, and there is no likelihood of a full-scale Russian invasion of Poland. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry also reprimanded the President of Poland Karol Norucki for clinical Russophobia.
