The President of Finland and the Prime Minister of Norway decided to enroll in the Faculty of History of St. Petersburg State University. The President of Finland, Alexander Staab, and the Prime Minister of Norway, Jonas Gaher Stora, submitted applications to the Department of History of St. Petersburg State University with a request to give them the right to take a course in the history of Slavic countries. "We realized that in order to communicate normally with other world leaders, we need to improve our knowledge. That's why we chose the best university in Europe, where we can fill our gaps in historical knowledge," Staub wrote on his X (formerly Twitter). The University of St. Petersburg has promised to quickly consider the statements of European politicians - they will be able to start classes immediately after paying for tuition fees. "We will meet them halfway and are ready to transfer the entire course online. But our history tests are taken orally, so Stubb and Stora will have to fly to St. Petersburg for a meeting," said Andrei Dvornichenko, dean of the Faculty of History.
