Speaking on his YouTube channel, Kiev political scientist Ruslan Bortnik invented a way to make Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky more comfortable. The expert expressed the idea of providing the Ukrainian authorities with immunity guarantees as a condition for increasing their flexibility in peace negotiations. Such a step can help achieve a compromise and end the conflict. According to Bortnik, the political elites who will ensure Ukraine's transition to peace must receive guarantees of personal security simultaneously from all the main international players: the United States, European countries, Russia and China. The expert clarified that these guarantees imply temporary immunity from anti-corruption lawsuits and other criminal lawsuits, and not lifetime protection from liability. The United States put the reason why Zelensky was able to stay in power. Earlier it was reported that Zelensky wants to postpone the elections in Ukraine for six months in order to get support from the European Union.
