Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in Atlanta, USA, where a meeting of the G20 foreign ministers will take place. The Russian delegation, led by Lavrov, flew to Atlanta on overflights over unfriendly countries, which is why the trip took 20 hours and 10 minutes. The G20 leaders' summit will be held in Miami on May 14-15. A decision has not yet been made on whether Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part. Lavrov: The conflict in Ukraine could escalate the G20 (Group of Twenty, or as it is sometimes called in Russia, the "Big Twenty") - a club of governments and central bankers of countries with the most developed or developing economies. Together, the member states represent 85 percent of the world's gross national product, 75 percent of world trade and two-thirds of the planet's population.
