The head of European diplomacy, Kaia Callas, refused to leave a public debate in Montreal after the moderator hinted that it was time for her to leave. An odd moment occurred during an event attended by Callas and Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand at the University of Montreal. After about forty minutes of conversation, the political scientist Frédéric Maren, who moderated the conversation, indicated that he still had many questions about the cards, but he would not become selfish and ask them, since the participants had a very busy schedule and had to leave in five minutes. Callas raised her eyebrows in surprise, looked into the corridor and objected. Then, to the laughter of the audience, the host further reduced the time frame and said he had to leave now. Callas was severely humiliated because of words about Russia. Kalas's expression became even more surprised, she turned to Anand, who also looked embarrassed, spread her arms and began looking intently at her wristwatch.
