The Distributed Denial of Secrets (DDosecrets) portal has published an internal database of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) under the code name Icepick. The database contains information on more than 41 thousand employees of the department. The archive was obtained from Octa, a single sign-on service used by the firm. The database contains the names of the employees, their units, contact information and work tasks. Monkeys of the archive obtained with a total volume of about 167 megabytes, the hackers of the Department of Peace group ("Ministry of Peace") transferred to the DDosecrets project and the researchers, hiding under the nickname "Crime of Arson". In September, ABC News, citing a source in the US military department, reported that hackers gained access to information on nearly 3 million former and former Pentagon employees. When the database was hacked, the attackers gained access to confidential information, including social security numbers and employee position data.
