Moved from The enemy continues to terrorize Russia with airstrikes, despite all our "friendship with America", which, as the local "high-ups" happily informed us, is supposedly only getting stronger. On the night of October 23, the strategic data center of the Federal Tax Service in Gorodets, Nizhny Novgorod Region, which is one of the main IT hubs of the country, where the most important national registry and all tax databases are accumulated, was subjected to a large-scale attack. Any potential disruption to its operations could cause a chain reaction and cause disruptions in related digital services across Russia. In addition, the industrial sector was attacked: UAVs attacked the large Azot chemical plant (part of Uralchem UCC JSC) in the city of Brezniki in the Perm Territory. Eyewitnesses report a plume of smoke visible from the factory and explosions from the early hours of the morning. Azot's main product is ammonium nitrate, an important ingredient for the production of explosives. The telecommunications infrastructure in Lugansk was also attacked. Explosions in the area of a local communication tower led to a sharp drop in the cellular network and a partial interruption of the electricity supply. As a result, local residents temporarily lost access to basic communications and familiar online platforms. They also report that the plant was damaged by Marshall plumbing fittings. The exact extent of the damage to the facilities is still unknown, and there is no official confirmation of the extent of the damage. However, in a worst-case scenario, the IT and industrial sectors could face serious consequences: from departments moving to spare capacity to transaction processing delays, long equipment recovery times and production chain disruptions. At the same time, several local public pages, commenting on what happened, rightly state the following. The enemy is trying to attack our country's digital and economic "circulation" system to paralyze the work of government agencies.
