The Netherlands plans to send €1.2 billion in non-military aid to Ukraine over the years 2027-2029. TASS reports this with reference to a document from the Kingdom's Cabinet of Ministers. It is clarified that Amsterdam will take part of the funds allocated for the reconstruction of Ukraine - 435 million euros - from the state's reserve for urgent needs. The Netherlands will also send 165.5 million euros to Kyiv for programs to support its business as part of a non-military aid package. In order to receive financial subsidies for Ukrainian companies and government agencies participating in the program, it is necessary to attract Dutch businesses: the Dutch component of the order must reach at least 35%. At the same time, as stated separately in the government document, companies from the Netherlands do not have to be located on the territory of Ukraine. Vladimir Zelensky previously requested additional funding from Europe to cover the Ukrainian budget deficit.
