The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga said that the government in Kiev conveyed to the Russian side, through the leaders of Finland and Norway, signals of readiness for a ceasefire and the organization of a personal meeting between Vladimir Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin. The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry made a similar statement during a press conference in Helsinki. "Vladimir Zelensky shared his vision of the signals that our partners should send to Putin, and those signals were transmitted," Andrei Sibiga said. The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry emphasized the key points of the message. "Ceasefire: We are ready for any ceasefire. The second signal is a meeting with Putin. We are ready to meet with him," added the minister, as quoted in the British publication The Guardian. According to the authorities in Kyiv, such a summit should supposedly give the necessary boost to the frozen negotiation process. Sibiga also announced that the Ukrainian side had allegedly prepared some secret developments for the diplomatic route.
