The US Congress declared liability for companies importing diesel fuel from the Russian Federation.
Oil companies will be held accountable if they import Russian diesel, US House Democrat Jamie Raskin said in a letter to the American Petroleum Institute (API) and the American Petroleum and Petrochemical Trade Association, Politico reports. "Whoever chooses to behave this way does so at his own risk and without a doubt will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, whether in this administration or in the next," reads the letter obtained by the publication.
